This card was made with Concord and 9th Turnabout stamps and Nuvo Aqua Flow watercolor markers pens. It was pretty simple and easy to make and I just love the results!
You can use a good-quality cardstock for this project as long as you don’t completely soak your paper. The top layer is a 3.75″ x 5″ white cardstock layer. The second layer is 4″ x 5.25″ and you’ll want to do the same process around the edges of this second layer.
First apply some water-based or watercolor marker/pens such as the Nuvo Aqua Flow onto a glass mat or large acrylic block in two to three of your chosen colors, such as blues and greens or greens and purples or pinks and yellows. Spray some water onto the glass or block but don’t mix up the colors. They will merge on their own. Place your top layer onto the puddle and pick up the color. Keep moving the panel around until the panel is covered with color. Pick up some color on the edges of your second layer, too… about a half an inch into the edge. You can use a water brush to fll in any missed spots.
Let air-dry or use a heat gun to dry your panels. Then use a wreath stamp such as the Concord and 9th stamps listed below; stamp with embossing ink and then emboss with gold embossing powder. Repeat with silver embossing powder. I used the tiny elements to add a few more images embossed with rose gold embossing powder.
Apply some embossing ink to the edges of the top panel and gold-emboss it. This frames your card in such a pretty way! White-emboss your sentiments and adhere
This card doesn’t take very long at all! Try it — it will turn out so pretty!
Have a great day!
