Welcome Home Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

February 11, 2019 by Nanette

Welcome to Catherine Pooler’s Welcome Home Release Blog Hop!

This is a GORGEOUS collection, so be sure to hop along below to see some of the great pieces of card-art you can create with this collection! And be sure to comment on each post for a chance to win.

This first card uses the intricate Deco Circles Die, the new WOW Aquatini Embossing Powder Trio, Gansai Tambi Starry Nights watercolor, and some vellum.

As you can see in the photo below, you just slide the entire die-cut (from white cardstock) on to the sticky side of a sheet of Glad Press “n” Seal, press the cut down and remove the outer part of the die-cut. While the negative pieces are still stuck to the sheet, use a mixture of Starry Nights Watercolor and Catherine Pooler Inks, and paint with a slightly damp brush. Then glue the white outer part of the die-cut onto an A2-size panel and glue the painted pieces into place.

Then just add an embossed sentiment on vellum and a few Vegas Baby Sequins.

The next card is made with the Awesome and Wonderful Stamp Set, a rainbow of Catherine Pooler Inks, the Blowing Bubbles Border Die and the little dragonflies are from the Fresh Flowers Stamp Set. The colorful secondary panel is made by sponging the ink pad directly to the edge of the panel.

This next card is made with a portion cut from the Interlocked Die which was embossed with colors from the three different WOW Trios. The flowers were painted with the Starry Nights watercolor mixed with inks and the cart was stamped with Sand Castle Ink. The sentiment was embossed in Wink from the Flirty Fuschia Embossing Trio. All elements are from the Fresh Cut Flowers Stamp Set.
