I have been playing with my VersaMagic and Brilliance Dew Drop Ink Pads by Tsukineko lately. I’ve had them for awhile and have used them from time to time, but haven’t used them for some months now. I love re-discovering things in my craft stash! I had forgotten how vivid these inks are, and I’m nuts about vivid inks 🙂
Today, we’re making a simple card. I have some discontinued Martha Stewart Butterfly Stamps (I’ve included links to some current sets below) that I’ve chosen to make this card. With the aid of my Mini Misti Stamping Tool, I lined up and stamped each butterfly one-by-one across my white card panel. I used VersaMagic Pink Grapefruit & Persimmon Dew Drops, and Brilliance Pearlescent Purple Dew Drop.
I die-cut the Hello sentiment with WPlus9’s Hand Lettered Hello Die from black card stock and adhered it to the card with Imagine Crafts’ On Point Glue, which has a nice, fine precision tip. I added a little shadowing using a Tombow TwinTone Purple Marker. Then I stamped the Gorgeous sentiment from WPlus9’s Hand Lettered Hello Stamp Set.
I finished the card with some coral adhesive dots that I found in my stash and then mounted the panel to my black-on-white card base.
