I just received this adorable set, the Sizzix Garden Shed die set, and was excited to make some cards with it! At the same time, I also got the pretty Avery Elle Invitation Frame Elle Ments die set and wanted to combine it with today’s card.

Here’s the first card I created (more cards to come later) : )

I used a Kraft cardstock base. The Avery Elle Frame was cut from white cardstock. Catherine Pooler Polished and Lime Rickey inks were used for the sentiment, leaves, and pot. You can apply the inks with a blending tool or brush. The hanging part of the pot is made from a scrap of gold mirror cardstock and the branch part of the leaves was from a scrap of dark grey cardstock.

After inking, the sentiment was heat-embossed with WOW Clear Embossing Powder. I used JudiKins Diamond Glaze to enhance the pot and leaves. You can add a little highlighting with a Decorese White Pen if you’d like : )
