Hello Friends!
A couple weeks ago I bought the Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate bundle; I thought it would make great envelope/mail art. And it will! (We’ll try that in a future post). But as soon as I got them, they looked so fun, I decided to start by making cards with them instead. They will definitely make pretty mail art, though, and I can’t wait to try that next!
Here they are 🙂
Two of the cards and one border panel were first blended, using a blending tool, with Catherine Pooler’s ink pads in Lime Rickey, Aquatini and Daydream. The black and white border panel is a piece from the Black Tie Gala Patterned Paper Pad. The images are colored with Faber-Castell’s Polychromo Pencils. The sentiments were embossed with Metallic Platinum, Black Glint and Opaque White embossing powders by WOW. The stars and balloons have a clear coating of Nuvo Crystal Morning Dew Drops which adds a pretty dimension to them! You can also highlight the stars and the balloons with a white pen like Faber-Castell’s Pitt White Marker once the Nuvo Drops have dried. Some Ranger White Opal Liquid Pearls dots were added to the baby chick card.
Two of the sentiments are from this set, but the other two sentiment stamps (and one die) are from Lawn Fawn’s Big Scripty Words and Scripty Sayings. The Black Tie Twine on the first card is a favorite twine that I used frequently, also by Lawn Fawn.
Thank you SO much for hanging out with me today! I appreciate EVERY one of you <3
Have a great day!
