This card was made with Simon Says Stamp November 2017 Card Kit. The textured, embossed paper in this card kit are scrumptious, but I want to save them for some special project that I will share with you later. In the meantime, the stamp set is fabulous! It has a Kindness theme, sweet sentiments and luscious flowers.
First I stamped the floral Kind image onto a white card stock panel. I used Catherine Pooler’s Midnight Ink Pad. I find I can color with both water-based and alcohol-based mediums with this ink. I painted the color in with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers and blended with an aqua brush. Then I stamped the small sentiment above this image.
I stamped the single Kind word in black and then die-cut it with the coordinating die. Then I adhered it over the original word in the floral image using dimensional adhesive foam. I filled in the letters with a Black Zig Brush Pen and then added glitter effects with Wink of Stella’s Clear Glitter Marker.
I used Rangers Sunflower Enamel Accents to dot some color around the flowers. I added some sparkle with Pretty Pink Posh Sequins and Droplets. Then I attached the layer to my black-on-white card base.
Have a great day!
