I love retro flower art! Simon Says Stamp has several retro floral sets including this one, Artsy Flower Parts. This set actually offers the flowers in parts; stem, leaf, bud 🙂
I started by stamping around the side and bottom edge with Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink on a white panel. Then I colored in the images with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I highlighted parts of flowers, buds and leaves with a Faber-Castell Stamper’s Big White Pen.
I die-cut the Happy sentiment from black cardstock using Hero Arts Stamp & Cut Happy Stamp Set. I adhered that onto the panel with a glue pen. I created a shadow using Tombow Dual Brush Pen N75. Then I stamped the Birthday sentiment underneath the die-cut.
I attached this panel to my black cardstock layer and then onto the white card base.
And that’s it 🙂
