I made this card for my Dad. He’s an avid bike-rider and with Father’s Day coming up, I thought this creation would be perfect for him 🙂
First, I double-stacked Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Frame Dies to die-cut the frame and set it aside.
On a white layer, I stamped the images using Stampin’ Up Sheltering Tree Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up Ink Pads and also sponged a light skyline. Although, I was already using a white card base, I wanted to be able to stamp off the edge and then elevate the top layer, thus the additional framed, white card 🙂 I used a Staedtler Fineliner to add some detail to the bike and dotted Clear Wink of Stella onto the tree leaves. The sentiment I used is from Mama Elephant’s Mini Messages Stamp Set.
After trimming my stamped layer, I used a tape runner to attach the frame. I adhered a coordinating card to the base, and then with dimensional foam adhesive, I mounted the framed, stamped layer on top. I finished off with tiny clear and white accents in the sky using Pico Embellisher and Enamel Accents and also added a little bit of Pico to the flowers.
