Hello Friends!
Today, I wanted to play with my Chameleon Pens again. I have found that if I want to use these pens to color in stamped images, that I should use stamps with wider spaces (such as the larger petals and leaves in the stamped image below). Actually these pens work well in small spaces, but I wanted to work on the different tones you can get in each pen. If you’d like to see a demo, click here.
I started this card by sponging in some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink around the edges of a white panel. I followed that by stamping the floral jar from my Paper Smooches Best Buds stamp set with black archival ink. On another white panel, I stamped the banner and sentiment. And then I got to the coloring 🙂
I adhered the finished panel to a black layer and then to my white card base. I cut a small panel to fit on the lower portion of the glass jar to make my banner stand out a little more. I don’t have the dies for this stamp set (yet), so I hand-cut the banner. Then I used dimensional foam dots to pop up my banner onto the small black layer.
I completed the card with Black Enamel Accents and White Nuvo Crystal Drops.
Have a wonderful day!
