I wish the photo showed off this card better! The color is shimmery; the die-cutting really sets it off. This card really pulled together nicely, and I could not seem to shoot a vivid enough photo of it.
First, on a watercolor paper panel, I painted and lightly blended horizontal stripes from the Kuretake Gem Watercolor Palette.
Then I die-cut a white panel with Avery Elle’s Wonky Stich Die in the larger size. I centered Simon Says Stamp Oval of Flowers Die on the same panel and die cut that, too. I layered this over the watercolor layer attaching it with foam tape for a little dimension.
I stamped a tiny sentiment on a small scrap of white cardstock and punched it with a Fiskars Photo Label Punch. I used a small piece of foam tape to mount it in the bottom corner.
I finished the card by adding a few crystal gems and then layering it on to a pastel layer and then on to the card base.
Have a great day!
