Welcome to Day 3 of the New Craft Stash Blog Hop! Three days of new (or new-to-me) projects, by wonderful, creative artists!
Be sure to comment each day on the hops to have a chance to win from several prize packages. Also, there will be bonus prizes offered by a few of the hop participants, including myself! 🙂 (Prizes listed further down the post).
The card I made today is from a recent release by Catherine Pooler Designs. It also consists of new papers that not only match the ink pad collection, but also her stamp patterns. The frames were released awhile back, available only through the Stamp of Approval Box, but has been just added to her shop.
I used Catherine Pooler’s Paisleys & Peacocks Patterned Paper; a pink pattern for the frame and butterfly, and a yellow pattern for the sunburst. I die-cut the black, inner panel and the postage frame from the Postage Stamp Die Set. Using the center of the already-cut pink paper, I die-cut the butterfly using the In Flight Die Set. After die-cutting the Sunburst Die from the yellow paper, I re-cut it again using the butterfly die. I glued these layers and cuts as shown above.
From white cardstock, I die-cut three layers of the Hello Die and then glued them together to make one thick sentiment. I glued this to the black panel and finished the card with a few Studio Katia Mini Sequins.
I want someone to have the chance to try a couple of these dies, plus a couple of my most favorite inks, so I am giving away a set to one winner, whom I will choose from the comments to this post. 🙂 (Sorry, U.S. comments only for this prize).
