I posted this card awhile back on my social media platforms and received a lot of great feedback, so I thought I’d write a short tutorial–It only needs a short tutorial because it was not that difficult to create, nor did it take too long.
First off, prep your Midnight black panel with the EK Success Powder Tool to prevent embossing powder from sticking where you don’t want it. Then heat-emboss the Vintage Baubles stamp with either WOW Metallic Silver or Platinum Embossing Powder (I used the silver) onto this panel.
Fill in the “baubles” with Prima Metallic Watercolors and a small paintbrush, such as a round #2, randomly, wherever you’d like.
On a 1 x 6″ strip of vellum, heat-emboss the “Merry Christmas” sentiment from the “Festive Trimmings” stamp set with WOW Platinum Embossing Powder. Wrap the strip around the card and adhere the ends to the back of the panel. Then glue your panel onto your card base.
