I enjoy decorating my envelopes. It’s almost mistake-proof, because receiving happy mail with anything extra on the envelope will get a smile. Do a search on my blog for “mail art” and you will see how much fun I have creating decorative envelopes 🙂
I used three stamp sets for these envelopes and five ink colors; they are all linked in the supply list below. But, keep in mind, you probably already have all the tools you need in your craft stash; some border stamps, or even stamps that you can create a repeating pattern and a small selection of ink colors. I also linked an affordable address template, which are very helpful for writing nice straight address block.
This post is mostly for inspiration. I had no real design-plan when stamping the envelopes. Just grab a few of your supplies and envelopes, and then stamp with creative randomness! That’s what I did 🙂
