I received this set just before Christmas and got so busy that I didn’t have time to create with it. Sunny Studio’s Merry Sentiments Stamp and Die Set is an adorable, versatile set. It also has a 3-D effect like Sunny Studio’s Holiday Style Set posted HERE.
First I blended Tim Holtz’s Distress Oxide Inks in Wilted Violet and Faded Jeans onto a white cardstock panel. Then I misted it with water with Tim Holtz’s Distress Sprayer.
I used Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment Ink to stamp the sentiment and then heat-embossed it with Ranger’s White Embossing Powder.
I stamped the light bulb assembly (it is a layered stamp set) in Catherine Pooler’s Rockin’ Red, Peppermint Scrub, Midnight and Ranger’s Shadow Grey and die cut it with the coordinating die. I mounted the bulb with dimensional foam and then added a little more dimension to the bulb itself with Nuvo Crystal Glaze.
I finished the card with several adhesive crystals and adhered it to my pre-prepped card base. 🙂
