Just Wonderful

I’m having so much fun with the Storybook Collection just released by Catherine Pooler this month! The focus of the cards we’re making today are the stamps from the Just Wonderful Stamp Set. Plus a few other goodies.

Here we go!

This first card is created with the Buffalo Plaid Background in Twilight ink on a white panel glued to the card base. Stamp the flowers and leaves with Coral Cabana and Mardi Gras inks. Emboss them with the detailed stamps using WOW Bright White Embossing Powder. Then die-cut them and mount them to the plaid panel with glue and foam adhesive.

Using a Life Changing Blending Brush and Twilight ink on white card stock, create a banner strip and emboss the sentiment from the Fluttering Friends Stamp Set with Wow Bright White. Glue it down and finish the card with Nuvo’s Crystal Gemstones.

The card base and panel of this card are white cardstock with the corners rounded by a Corner Chomper. (You may already have a corner-rounder in your stash). The images on the white panel were stamped with the Just Wonderful Stamp Set using Party Dress and Limoncello inks. When you ink the round flower base stamp, use two of the inks and tap a blending brush on the stamp to blend the edges of the two colors. What you’ll get is a pink/yellow/orange combination, which is very pretty.

Emboss the floral details with WOW Gold Rich Embossing Powder. Die cut the Concentric Circles Die and emboss the sentiment from Fluttering Friends with Gold Rich. Glue the die cut to your panel. Then finish off with some Nuvo Gold Luxe Dream Drops.
