Have you tried combining a cover plate and a background stamp? Sometimes they can look a little busy, but what the heck… So what. 🙂 It’s still fun to see what you can come up with!
So, first I inked up the Ride the Wave Background Stamp with Something Borrowed, Sangria, and Aquatini Inks, and then applied my card panel on top, smoothing it down on the stamp with my hand (but you can use a roller, too). Pull it up gently and let it dry thoroughly to avoid tearing when die-cutting it. I used a water brush to spread out some color. After the panel dried, I die-cut it with the Wavy Cover Plate and glued it to the card base.
On a 4.25″ x 2″ piece of vellum, heat-emboss the Just Breathe sentiment in Colour Blend Verdigris Embossing Powder (SO pretty!). I used Glue Dots to adhere it to the card. The add some “bubble-looking” sequins to appear as they are floating up. Finish up with some coordinating twine. Ta da!
Have a great day and BE WELL!
