I love leafy images, leafy drawings, and leafy paintings. In fact I draw and paint them myself. So when I saw this the Birdie’s Branch die set show up in the shop, I knew it was mine!

Supplies for this card (also linked at the end of this post):

• Dies: Birdie’s Branch, Deco Thanks
• Inks: In the Park, Cummerbund, Serenade
• WOW: Halo, Cummerbund
• Other: White Gel Pen

I made three cuts of the die after blending Cummerbund, In the Park and Serenade ink on each panel. I inlaid the negative parts of the die-cuts into the Cummerbund-blended branch, then heat-embossed the leaves with WOW! Halo and Cummerbund embossing powders and glued the branch in place. Then I cut leaf pieces from the other two branch cuts and glued them into my main branch.

The Deco Thanks die was cut from a Serenade-blended panel. After gluing it in place, I shadowed it with a white pen and then penned in some scattered dots.
