Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop! This month’s theme is “Feminine.”
When I first saw the set below, I nearly passed on it, but after seeing the beautiful creations of others using the set, I decided I HAD to have this in my collection!
The set I’m using today is Stampin’ Up’s Beautiful You Stamp Set. There are plenty of stamps in this set–enough to fill two DVD-type cases.
To begin, on a Whisper White 3.75″ x 5″ panel, I stamped my image and sentiment with Black Archival Ink. With a Ranger Blending Tool, I blended Bermuda Bay and Soft Sky around the edge as well as contouring the ink around the stamped images.
Using Watercolor Pencils, I colored around the edges of the image of the girl, then dragged the color into the rest of the image with an Aqua Painter Brush. After drying time, I used a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add a little bling to the hat, shirt, and skirt.
I used the tiny flowers from the Daisy Delight stamp set to stamp three little flowers around the girl. Then I used Rhinestones for the center of each flower.
I added stars around the border with a Sakura Decorese White Pen and then layered the finished panel on to a white card base with a coordinating layer.
