Today, we’re going Back to Basics plus we’re having a fun little GIVEAWAY!
I’ve been following along with Catherine Pooler’s Back-to-Basics series on StampNation; a series on simple, but beautiful cardmaking. There are such amazing techniques and fantastic simple designs demonstrated in these videos!

After watching this series, I pulled out these same stamp sets from my stash and got to playing! I used a total of three stamps sets and five colors of ink for these cards. If you don’t have these sets, I’m sure you can find some elements in your current stash that would be great. I’ve also listed the sources of the stamps and ink colors below.

i have wanted to try the CP inks, but finances are tight at our house. i also think the Back to Basics series has been interesting. Good reminders of the things we all learned first.
