Hello Friends!
We’ve had a bit of a long winter here in Northwest Montana. While most of you have been enjoying Summer, I think Spring is finally here for us 🙂
Today, I decided to play with the new Altenew Pinstripe Stamp set I just got last week. This is a newly released and very popular set, so you may need to sign up to be notified when it is restocked. It’s a great, subtle background stamp with additional elements and sentiments. Tim Holtz also has a great striped stamp (listed below).
With the first card, I used Catherine Pooler’s Be Mine and Limoncello inks for the background and Midnight ink for the dots and sentiment.
The second card has a Skylight background.
The third card has a Midnight ink background with Be Mine, Limoncello, Skylight and Grape Crush dots.
I created a coordinating second layer for the first two cards by turning an ink pad up-side-down and dragging it carefully along the edge of the card layer. (The black layering panel is just black cardstock).
I used a Wink of Stella Glitter Pen to go over the sentiments and Nuvo’s Crystal Glaze was added to the dots for some glossy dimension.
The twine is from Lawn Fawn. The black and white combo is my favorite twine to use and also hard to find, so I’ve stocked up on Lawn Fawn’s Black Tie baker’s twine.
Thanks for hanging out with me!
Have a great day!
