Well, the set is actually named A Pocket of Sunshine by Pink & Main. But this cute set has various combinations of “pocketfuls.” The other elements on the stamp set include sunshine, pens, sunglasses, a cellphone, and aces. They can sit inside the pocket, or you could fold up a little paper currency inside the pocket.
Today, I went with the posies 🙂
First I blended Oxide Ink with a blending tool in Faded Jeans onto a white 3.75″ x 5″ panel. With embossing ink, I inked the stitched border from the Best in You stamp set by Catherine Pooler. I heat-set the border with Ranger Ink Letter It Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder.
The pocket was also ink-blended on some white scrap, die-cut with the coordinating die, inked with embossing ink using the pocket stamp, then heat set with the Gold Tinsel.
I stamped the posies onto white card scrap, colored them with Kuretake ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die-cut the image.
Then I adhered the pieces as shown, using dimensional foam tape for the pocket. The sentiment was heat-embossed with WOW’s Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder. I layered the finished panel onto scrap red cardstock and then to my card base.
I thought this card would take longer than usual, but I completed it rather quickly 🙂
Thanks for hanging out with me today!
