I just bought Penny Black’s Happy Bliss Stamp set about a week ago and couldn’t wait to try it out.
I decided to have a little fun with this set, and so chose to make the seed heads multi-colored.
The Dandelions were stamped first on white cardstock using Ranger’s Mini Archival Ink Pads. The nice thing about these mini ink pads is that I could ink the entire stamp all at one time, and then just stamp once.
I colored the birds with Chameleon marker pens.
Then I ran this card layer through my Sizzix Big Shot Plus with a wood slat embossing folder. The folder I used is from Close to My Heart; You can also find a similar one on Amazon by Tim Holtz, listed below.
I dotted the center of each dandelion with Ranger Black Enamel Accents, then added some stray, floating seeds by drawing them in with a Staedtler Pigment Fineliner pen. I also drew in a little more detail to the birds.
With some black cardstock, I used My Favorite Things Fishtail Dies to die-cut the sentiment window. It was first stamped using Lawn Fawn’s Scripty Sayings Stamp Set with embossing ink and then heat-embossed with Nuvo’s Glacier White Embossing Powder. I mounted the sentiment window to my panel with Stampin’ Up Dimensional’s, an adhesive foam.
I then layered this panel onto a black card base.
Have a great day!
