It’s officially SPRING! So let’s make a Spring card 🙂
I am using the Altenew Garden Grow stamp set. I love every image in this set, so we will be revisiting this collection, again, soon!
I started this card with a layer of Fabriano Watercolor paper. I use this paper frequently. The price is affordable and the paper is smooth enough for stamping and even hand-lettering.
First, I sponged on green and blue inks and then daubed a faint cloud layer with white pigment ink.
I stamped the arrangement of images that I wanted to work on today. The combinations for this stamp set is endless!
Then I watercolored the images. I heat-set in between each color, but you can also just let each layer air-dry. I used a Uniball Signo White Pen to create highlights. I re-added any details lost with a Staedtler Pigment Fineliner pen. Altenew’s Floral Shadow stamp set is where I got my sentiment, which I stamped with black ink.
I punched my butterflies with my favorite and frequently-used Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch and glittered up the butterflies a little with a glitter pen. I attached them with dots of glue and then put all my layers together.

Happy Spring!
