Today I wanted to play with my Chameleon Markers, and the Stampendous Ranunculus Field Stamp seemed like the perfect stamp.
If you are not familiar with Chameleon Markers, you can check them out here. Each pen is dual-tipped with a bullet nib and a brush nib and each comes equipped with a blending nib.
I first stamped the Stampendous Stamp onto white cardstock using Catherine Pooler’s Midnight Archival Dye Ink. I heat-set it a little so I could move right on to coloring. I colored in the image with the Chameleon Markers. I accented the details of the lines with a Staedtler Fineliner Pen and then brushed on Wink of Stella’s Glitter Pen on to the petals and leaves immediately after coloring.
I used Stampin’ Up’s Glitter Enamel Dots for the center of the flowers.
Next I cut a white cardstock strip and stamped my sentiment; this one from Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings. I layered that on a black strip and popped it up on the front, bottom of the card.
I think using watercolors with this stamp would be nice 🙂 If any of you decide to try it, be sure and tag me!
