Today, I did another take on the Gina K Collection that we created a few days ago. I had so much fun with it the first time, I wanted to try out a couple more designs with the same kit.
First I layered the black cardstock on to the white card base and set those aside. I created two sets of smaller layering rectangles in black and white cardstock, stamped the sentiment with black pigment ink on to the white pieces and heat-embossed with black embossing powder. Then I attached those two pieces together and set aside.
Card 1 (left) was first inked with clear embossing ink and stamped randomly with the flowers and leaves, as before. I followed by heat-embossing with white embossing powder. Then I daubed Blue Lagoon and Grass Green. I wiped off the embossed area with a baby wipe.
Card 2 (right) was daubed FIRST, adding Wild Wisteria, as well, and then stamped in like manner with Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment Ink.
Card 1 was embellished (dotted) with Ranger White Enamel Accents. Card 2 was embellished with Tsukineko Irresistibles Clear Pico (looks like raindrops!)
The final step was attaching the sentiments to the corners of the cards.
If you don’t have this set, I’m sure you have similar supplies in your collection and can make something like this, probably even prettier and nicer than mine 🙂 If you do, I’d love to see it… Be sure to post and tag me on any of the above social media accounts so I can admire your work!
