What fun it was to make this card! This cheery card could be used for different occasions; Mother’s Day, Easter, “Hello”, Thanks and more!
I used several pieces from the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit — The Oval of Flowers Stencil and cardstock. I also used Simon Says Stamp BLOOMING MEADOW Ink pad set.
First I washi-taped the stencil on white cardstock. I sponged the ink carefully using different colors to create a floral/leaf effect. I die-cut the stamped oval with an MFT die and die-cut a second larger layer in the SSS light green color.
I randomly placed Close to My Heart Bitty Sparkles on the petals (I love these and use them all the time). Enamel Dots where placed in the center of the flowers. Both ovals were attached together with a adhesive roller and then mounted to the card base using pop dots.
The sentiment from My Favorite Things was stamped on stamped on white cardstock that I hand-cut and then mounted on a larger piece of Simon Says Stamp Cardstock and die-cut with a MFT Word Window. I also embossed with Ranger Clear Embossing Powder and heat-set the sentiment. This was attached to the bottom corner of the card base with an adhesive roller.
I finished off with a scrap lace ribbon that I had.
Ta-da!
