Woo hoo! New ink colors are a-comin’! The Quint-Essentials Collection releases next week, June 8th!

On my card today, I am featuring the new inks — Whipped Honey, Matcha, Lilac, Crushed Violet — and the new Because Trees Stamp & Die Set.

I started with a sheet from the Because Flowers Patterned Paper. I splattered some Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Nights Watercolor across the patterned paper and across a strip of white cardstock. The white piece was trimmed along the top with Tim Holtz’s Deckled Trimmer and glued down to the patterned piece.

On some additional white cardstock, I schmeared four splotches of the new ink shades, splattered them with the metallic watercolor and then die-cut a tree from each color. I glued those to the assembled panel, stamped the sentiment in Crushed Violet and then completed the card with a few Hallerbos Sequins.
