Simple Platinum-on-Black Embossing

This card was SUPER SIMPLE to make! And let me add that the WOW Platinum Embossing Powder is probably my favorite shade over gold and silver, both of which are a close second.

The Rizzo Background Stamp is one of the Mandela stamps from Catherine Pooler’s latest release, Bursts and Backgrounds.

So first, on a 4″ x 5.5″ piece of Midnight Cardstock, brush some EK Success Powder to prevent the embossing powder from sticking where you don’t want it. Then heat-emboss the Rizzo Background Stamp image with WOW Platinum Embossing Powder–You will only be stamping half the image over the long portion of the card with your embossing ink. Heat-emboss your preferred sentiment with the Platinum, as well. (I used a sentiment from the Rose Garden Stamp Set).

I glued this panel onto a white cardbase, but you may want a black cardbase. I added three Nuvo Crystal Gems to the “corners” of the Mandela.

Just a note: The Rizzo stamp also has a coordinating die set!
