Tropical Treasures Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

March 21, 2019 by Nanette

Welcome to Catherine Pooler’s Tropical Treasures Release Blog Hop!

This is a BEAUTIFUL collection, so be sure to hop along below to see some of the great pieces of card-art you can create with this release! And be sure to comment on each post for a chance to win.

I am also very excited because the products from a previous Tropical Stamp of Approval are now available for purchase along with this release!

Here’s I card I created with the Be Wild stamp and dies.

The “grass” was cut out from a sheet of paper from Tropical Treasures Pattern Paper Pad. I used the Life of the Party and Foundations ink collections for inking. The background was blended using the wonderful Life Changing Blender Brushes. Embossing was done with WOW Bright White Embossing Powder. The second mat was direct-to-paper inking around the edges and the third mat is from the same paper pack, of course. I finished off the card with Miami, Bourbon Street, and Green Mountains sequins.

This next card was made with the Toucan Do It stamp and dies.

I blended some green on to a white 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel and die cut with To The Point Cover Plate. I hand-cut a strip of “leaves” and glued, at a slight angle, onto an ink-blended 3 3/4″ x 4″ panel and then cut off the overhang. The other die-cut elements were colored in with colorful inks using a ZIG Blender Pen. You can glue them in place or use foam tape to pop them up a bit.

Hel-lo! There’s a $25 Gift Card GIVEAWAY from Catherine Pooler Designs! Follow along with my friends below and comment for a chance to win!
