Here’s a fun card for you…
Today, we are using the Doodle Hearts stamp and die set.
First, let me list the layers I used. The card base is a standard white A2 size: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. The next layer is Kraft cardstock cut to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8″. The blue layer is cut to 4 x 5 1/4″. These layers will be glued one on top of
The blue layer was blended with All That Jazz, Skylight and Fiesta Blue. The sentiment is heat-embossed with WOW Bright White Embossing Powder.
I used the Envelope Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers and Kraft cardstock to make an envelope using the size guide for a 2 1/2 x 3″ card. Adhere this to the blue panel and then add white pen details to make the envelope stand out a little more.
Now, here is how you get easily-colored-in hearts… Stamp the hearts using the reverse side of the stamp. Here I used Pixie Dust, Polished, Party Dress, Samba and Orange Twist. Then using the patterned side of the stamp, you will heat-emboss with the white embossing powder.
Die-cut the hearts and glue them into place. If you’d like, add a few tiny embossed hearts, or Nuvo Drops or sequins.
Have a great day!
