Well, with Summer being a favorite theme of mine, it wasn’t too hard to come up with at least 50 different ideas. Here’s one…
I decided to combine embossing with watercolor.
First I embossed a 3.75 x 5″ Fabriano watercolor panel using Lovely Floral embossing folder by Stampin’ Up. Then I used Watercolor Pencils to color in the embossed images and brush over the coloring with a wet brush.

After allowing the watercolor to dry, I filled in the larger flowers with Diamond Glaze. Then I outlined the images with a Staedtler Fineliner pen. The sentiment is from the Sitting Here stamp set.
I embellished the card even further with some Ranger Black Enamel Accent drops, Stampin’ Up Rhinestones and a length of Lawn Fawn’s Black Tie twine.
