Hello, my friends 🙂
I just bought these Avery Elle Focal Point Stripes dies and couldn’t wait to try them out. I gave them a try starting with these two cards.
First off, I watercolored the panels. I used red, orange, pink and yellow for one panel and blue, green and purple on the other. I painted both on one sheet of watercolor paper. I flipped a few splatters on each one, too.
I used the frame die from the Avery Elle die set to cut out each painting; then I used the stripes to cut the stripe pattern in each painting.
I adhered the outer die frame on to my top card layers and then added the stripes, popping them up with adhesive foam. Then I added my middle layer and card base. I decided to use some washi tape on the first card.
I cut two sentiments from Midnight cardstock using Catherine Pooler’s Hello Die and glued them on to each card. Then I finished each card with a few sequins 🙂
I’ll be back next week 🙂
Have a great weekend!
