Welcome to Day 2 of the Wild and Wonderful Blog Hop with Catherine Pooler Designs!
You should have arrived here from Susan Powell’s Blog. The complete list is below. Comment to win!
What a “Wonderful” collection! 🙂 I loved playing with the newly-realeased Wild and Wonderful set! I keep thinking of more and more ideas with every card I create!
The three cards below, you’ll notice that I used just a single sheet of stamps (plus one extra sentiment), creating three different looks. I used inks from the Life of the Party Collection plus the NEW Grape Crush and Limoncello.
First, I arranged all the sentiments from A Note Of Thanks Stamp Set (plus the Thank You stamp from Leaf Motifs), face-down on my pre-cut card panel in the exact placement that I wanted. Then a brought down a large acrylic block to pick them all up. Ta da! Now the block is ready to use on several cards (or more).
On card number one, below, I white-heat-embossed the sentiments on to Midnight cardstock. On a separate, white cardstock, I blended a blob of Party Dress Ink and another blob of Limoncello Ink. I die-cut these blobs of color with the Scroll Butterfly and In Flight Dies, layered one butterfly on top of the other and adhered them, off-kilter, on the black embossed panel. I added a few rhinestones, just because I like sparkly things 🙂
One card two, I blended a rainbow of inks on to white cardstock and stamped the block of sentiments with Midnight Ink.
Card number three is a fast, easy and fun card! I just stamped the block with Midnight Ink, added a few, colorful flowers from the same A Note of Thanks Stamp Set and tied it up with a length of black and white twine. On cards two and three, you will notice that I like using a black layer of cardstock to frame my “artwork.”
Thanks so much for hanging out with all of us today! Everything in the NEW Wild and Wonderful Collection release, including items I used above, is listed at the bottom of this post.
Comment to win at each of the blogs below! If you started at my post, the next post in line is Catherine Pooler’s Blog.

I’ve been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article
like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion,
if all site owners and bloggers made good content as
you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
