Everybody loves something completely handmade, and here’s a simple design for you. It is a combination of watercolor, hand-drawing and lettering. If hand lettering is not your strong point, simply used a short sentiment stamp instead, but the rest of the design is easy peasy 🙂
First I cut Fabriano’s Watercolor Paper into a 3.75″ x 5″ shape. I drew multiple leaf branches around the border with a Sepia Copic Fineliner. This fineliner works nicely with watercolor because it won’t bleed or smear when you apply the wet brush.
Then I used a water brush to apply Prima Watercolors in shades of green to the leaves.
I lettered the “hello” with an Ecoline Watercolor Marker. Then I attached it to a black card panel and a Kraft card base.
And that’s it! 🙂
Have a great weekend and BE WELL!
