Nothing tops off a personal, handmade card more than a coordinating, hand-decorated envelope! I’ve created these before and the recipients love them! There are tons of similiar ideas that I encourage you to check out on Pinterest.
I posted this a couple years ago. To this day, it’s been so popular on Pinterest that I’ve decide to send it out to you again, especially for recent subscribers that haven’t seen it.
First, draw the banner with a White Faber-Castell Pitt Big Brush Pen using a French Curve. Then add a swirl on each side and close in the banner with vertical lines. (See photo below).
Since you will want to design around the address, write that in next with a Staedtler Fineliner. Using a laser such as a Johnson Laser Tool will help keep your lines straight. Draw simple flowers with the Moonlight Gelly Roll Pens and some BIC Metallic Markers so that theyare coming up and around the address and banner. You can also add some stray flowers and dots. Write the name in the banner itself with a Pilot Futayaku Double-Sided Brush Pen. (For this example, I used my own name and address)
Other doodle ideas would be some leafy foliage or some simple little birds and butterflies.
Have a great day and BE WELL!
