Here’s the first in a series of 7-minute cards! Interspersed with other projects, of course. Actually this card was almost closer to a 5-minute card, so maybe I should just call it the less-than-ten-minute-card series 🙂
This card just required a stencil, a word die, three inks, and a few sequins.
I used a little double-sided tape to keep my white cardstock panel in place on my Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat. On the back of the Scrapbook.com String Lights Stencil (or any stencil of your choice), I sprayed some Pixie Spray to secure the stencil and positioned the stencil over the card panel.
Using some $2 round brushes from Amazon, I blended the three Catherine Pooler Inks; Hot Tub, Pink Champagne, and Orange Peel. These affordable round brushes are soft and blend beautifully!
On another piece of cardstock, I blended Hot Tub ink and then die-cut the Celebrate Word Die. After removing the stencil, I glued the die-cut into place and added a few Boston and Cincinnati Sequins. With foam tape, I mounted the top panel onto my base card. (The top panel was previously cut about 1/4″ shorter and narrower than the card base).
Have a great weekend!
